We are in need of a Special Education Teachers to work with in our high school for the 2024/2025 school year. This position is onsite for 37.5 hours a week Monday thru Friday within our district, based out of Colonial Beach, Virginia. With the fall semester underway, the director is scheduling virtual interviews now to aim to hire promptly!

Caseload: Self contained class, cross-categorical with 2 paras in support
Competitive Pay Rate starting at $35/hr
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or masters degree in special education or related field
- Valid Virginia Special Education Teaching License
- Must have teaching endorsements to be considered.
- Laws of Special Education laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and the ability to tailor instructions to meet diverse learning speeds
